School Meals

Lunchtime at Lowtown

Children who have school dinner choose their lunch from the menu as part of morning registration and are then given a coloured dinner band to reflect their meal choice which they hand over to the catering staff in the hall at lunchtime.

We are a Healthy school and our meals provided by Catering Leeds offer a healthy and varied meal choice for our pupils.

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 receive a free meal as part of the Universal Infant Free School Meals Programme.

The meal cost for children in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 is currently £2.40 per day / £12 per week.

Meals should be paid for via ParentPay (please speak to the school office for support with ParentPay).

Free School Meals

If you think your child may be entitled to free school meals due to family circumstances please see the FSM information leaflet.

Packed lunches

Children may choose to bring their own packed lunch instead of having a school meal.

This should be brought in to school each morning and taken to their classroom.

If your child has a packed lunch please ensure that you follow the healthy packed lunch guide below.
